Bread maker: asset valuation

The largest national producer of sliced bread has commissioned ACCODE to evaluate the productive assets of its two manufacturing plants for a corporate operation, taking advantage of the project to update the values of the damage insurance policies.
The first of the plants is dedicated exclusively to the manufacture of sliced bread and has the capacity to produce any variety of bread: white, whole wheat and cereals. Any of these varieties can be produced in different formats interchangeably, the white with rind being the one with the highest commercial volume. This manufacturing plant has the largest capacity sliced bread production line in Europe, and one of the largest worldwide.
The second plant, located about 20 kilometers from the previous one, is dedicated to the production of frozen bread, with the capacity to produce different types of dough and formats on a dedicated high-capacity line. This plant also has a workshop to produce high-value special breads also made from frozen dough, as well as pasta bases for artisanal pizza.
