The largest Italian manufacturer of automotive components has commissioned ACCODE to assess the industrial assets in two of its plants in Spain in order to carry out a Deterioration Test. In one of the plants, located in Valladolid, CCBs (“Cross Car Bean”) are produced for all RENAULT vehicles manufactured in Spain; The “CCB” is the piece that crosses the vehicle transversally and on which the dashboard and other interior components are fixed.

In the other plant, located in Barcelona, the rear lights for various vehicle models are produced. The scope of the valuation included both machinery and real estate. In one of the plants, a situation of potential deterioration originating from real estate was detected. On the other plant, the most important, there were no signs of deterioration.

After contrasting the methodology developed by ACCODE, it is planned to replicate the exercise in other plants of the group throughout Europe.
